We have now been in Norway just under a week. I am still really enjoying it and looking forward to the next three weeks. In particular, I think that the trip to Paris will be a lot of fun.
Even though it was a Saturday, the students here at Drottningborg had classes for about 4 hours today. So, I once again slept in and took a shower a little bit before 9:00. Today, Anne, Kristen, and I decided to not work on homework and to take the day off. I still did manage to work some on my US History Paper. I am about 60% completed with the rough draft of it and am going to try and complete it tomorrow. Basically, I spent most of my day talking to people and playing games on my iPad.
Because today was Saturday, the meal schedule was different. Lunch was two hours later, and it consisted only of porridge with sugar and cinnamon. It was quite good. Then, we it is usually dinner, we had cake and drinks. For supper we had lasagna, which was really good. I really love the Norwegian food.
Tonight the First Graders, who in America would be high school sophomores, had a show for the school. It was sort of a talent show, only better. There were some skits, and some music videos. There were also live musical performances. Although I did not understand a good part of the show, it was funny and I enjoyed it. After the show, I went and played Pool with some guys. I was bad at it, but they were too. It worked out in the end. I played three games. I lost the first two and won the last one on a technicality. But, it was a lot of fun. I cannot wait to see what fun tomorrow holds.
