Today, March 29, 2011, was a lot of fun. After getting ready, we went into the school office to try and pay for our trip, but our credit and debit cards would not work. So, we spent some time talking to Frode, a teacher and administrator who runs the exchange program at Drottningborg, about how we would pay. After that, we spent some time before lunch working on homework. We went to lunch, which was good. Then, we went to Frode’s sociology class for fun. It was in all Norwegian, but we were able to get a few things out. Next week, we are going to go to his class and answer some questions about America. After that class, I worked on some more homework.
At about 2:30, I went into town with Bogdan, Tonye, and Hanne. We went in both because it was Hanne’s birthday and dinner was really bad. We went to eat at Happytime Pizzeria, where I had a kebab, which was once again very good. We then walked around the mall in Grimstad for a little while before going back to school. When I got back, I talked with some of the Norwegians. We went to supper at 6:30, but I did not eat much because we were going to Frode’s house at 8:30. So at 8:30, Anne, Kristen, and I plus the three girls who came to America last year and the three girls who are going to America next year went to Frode’s house. We had pizza, which is very common in Norway. It was really good. We just spent the time talking about America, and we had a good time. We also had ice cream, which was really good when you put Norwegian chocolate on it. It was after 11:00 when we finally left. When I got back to my dorm, I spent some time talking to people and then went to bed.
